The search component smart.finder and the map.apps Smart Search Extension are now offered in version 1.6.0.
In addition to a number of bug fixes, new features have been introduced that primarily affect the infrastructure in which the application runs.
Support for Apache Tomcat 9
Version 1.6.0 supports Apache Tomcat 8.5 and Tomcat 9. Apache Tomcat version 7 is no longer supported.
Support for OpenJDK/JRE 8
In addition to Oracle JDK/JRE 8, OpenJDK/JRE 8 is now officially supported.
Handling TLS server certificates
A new property has been introduced that controls the behavior when accessing HTTPS endpoints. This controls whether and how a TLS/SSL server certificate is accentuated and trusted.
This is relevant, for example, if you want to index resources that are to be accessed via HTTPS in the manager.
