Successful launch of security.manager - ArcGIS Edition at the Esri User Conference

RĂ¼diger Gartmann July 12, 2016

The Esri User Conference in San Diego is over, and con terra is still under the influence of this extraordinary and successful event.

There was probably no better place to showcase the new security.manager - ArcGIS Edition to the international public. the new security.manager edition attracted great interest both from our colleagues at Esri Inc., as well as partners and the interested public.

Happily, we could present the application of the ArcGIS Edition in the real world scenario of the district Bernkastel-Wittlich, which provides access to information on refugee accommodation in individual communities, and authorized geographical areas and content according to the responsibilities of the individual user. This issue is also known to the international audience and shows very clearly the value of fine-grained authorization capabilities.

For Esri Inc., the security.manager - ArcGIS Edition is a showcase implementation of the new concept of Object Server Interceptors (SOI) as security.manager is the world's only available standard product based on this new technology. The close cooperation between the Esri ArcGIS Server team and con terra is reflected in the invitation to present security.manager - ArcGIS Edition in a workshop "Extending ArcGIS for Server with SOEs and SOI".

The new edition particularly impressed with its seamless integration as an ArcGIS Server extension, and by its ease of use, so we have returned with very good feedback from ESRI, our partners and visitors to our stand. More information on security.manager - ArcGIS Edition can be found at
